BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Police will hold another distracted driving emphasis Friday.
The BPD said on Twitter that the patrol will take place on Bellingham roads between 8 AM and 2 PM.
They held a distracted driving emphasis last Friday, which resulted in 43 traffic stops and 20 tickets — 6 of which were for drivers using their cell phones.
The department says they’ve also encountered people applying make-up, eating breakfast, shaving and using an iPad while driving.
