BIRCH BAY, Wash. — The latest design proposal for the future Birch Bay library was released.
Zervas Architects is proposing a 7,600 square foot craftsman-style building that does not incorporate a pre-existing house on the property, saying it will be more efficient to scrap the home at the Birch Bay Drive site.
The Northern Light reports the plans for the library were unveiled last Monday at a meeting at the Birch Bay State Park.
Cost of the project is expected to end up slightly above $3.5 million.
