BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Another round of strong winds are expected to hit with a High Wind Watch beginning Wednesday evening, lasting through 6:00 PM Thursday evening.
The National Weather Service says western Whatcom and Skagit Counties and Island County can prepare for strong southeast winds in the 25-35 MPH range with gusts up to 55 MPH.
It’s possible winds could gust around 60 MPH at times and forecasters believe the chances for the high winds and power outages are during Thursday afternoon.
