BREMERTON, Wash. — Over two decades after a Bremerton woman was murdered in her apartment, detectives in Bremerton and Boise, Idaho teamed up to track down and arrest her suspected killer.

KOMO reports 57-year-old Marilyn Hickey was found strangled and stabbed to death in 1992, but the case went cold a few months later.

Investigators reopened the case in 2006, and using DNA evidence, found it matched with another cold case murder from 1994 in Boise.

Lee Robert Miller, now 54, was linked to both cases and Boise police arrested him Wednesday.

Miller is expected to be extradited from Boise on Friday.
