BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Parents can earn college credit while putting their kids through preschool in Bellingham.
There are a few cooperative preschools affiliated with Whatcom Community College where parents can earn college credit in parenting skills classes.
Cooperative preschools allow parents to work in the classroom about twice a month.
The schools are now enrolling for fall and several have open houses and info sessions this month.
Whatcom Family Cooperative Preschool will have their meeting at Happy Valley Elementary at 5 PM on January 9, Lakeside Cooperative Preschool will be at Silver Beach Elementary at 5:30 PM on January 24, and Children’s Cooperative Preschool will have an open house at Bellingham Family Partnership Program (formerly Larrabee Elementary) at 10 AM on January 29.
