MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Skagit County officials are exploring a major investment in homeless services.
County officials toured a Mount Vernon property on Tuesday and Commissioner Lisa Janicki told the Skagit Valley Herald it allowed her to envision the new shelter.
This property is one of several the county is considering for a multifaceted facility that they call a “recovery campus.”
It would be a day center, year-round shelter and behavioral health resource for the homeless community in Skagit County.
