OLYMPIA, Wash. — A State Senate committee heard testimony on a number of gun-related bills Monday.
KING 5 reports the Law and Justice Committee listened to testimony from a woman whose son was killed in the 2017 Freeman High School shooting.
One bill would limit gun magazines to 10 rounds, which supporters say would keep a shooter from quickly reloading and save lives.
Opponents say it would limit their ability to protect themselves.
Other measures being considered would allow police to confiscate guns and ammunition if they’re used in a domestic crime, ban guns made with 3D printers, and tighten requirements for concealed carry permits.
