The Lynden girls defeated Lynden Christian 47-37 Thursday night. Ruby VanderHaak scored 15 and Keylie Hershey 13 for the Lions. The Lynden boys take on Lynden Christian Friday night in a battle of unbeatens on KPUG.

Also on the girls side Bellingham beat Blaine 46-42, Meridian defeated Mt. Baker 57-41 and Nooksack Valley got by Squalicum 49-43.

In boys play Ferndale beat Sedro-Woolley 84-72 and Sehome defeated Lakewood 63-55.

Prep basketball finals Thursday night…on the boys side Lynden beat Sedro-Woolley 80-55, Ferndale got by Squalicum 69-67 and Meridian defeated Anacortes 53-45.

In girls play Nooksack Valley beat Mount Baker 64-55.
