FERNDALE, Wash. — Voters in the Ferndale, Nooksack Valley and Concrete School Districts are running out of time to get their special election ballots in.

Ferndale District voters are again deciding on a $112 million bond measure to fund a new high school, modernize the Performing Arts Center and make other capital improvements.

Nooksack Valley voters are deciding an almost $30 million bond measure to replace Sumas Elementary and add classrooms to Everson and Nooksack Elementaries.

Concrete District voters are being asked to renew an expiring levy that funds operations and educational programs.

The two bond issues require 60% supermajorities to pass.

Ballots must be in a ballot drop box by 8:00 tonight.
