Likelihood of more snow decreases but icy spots remain

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Be ready for black ice and incoming rain to make for a messy roads.

While warmer temperatures helped melt snow on roadways on Wednesday, last night’s freezing temperatures means we’ll have icy conditions for Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service says another round of precipitation is moving in and, depending on snow levels, will likely be a rain and snow mix for Whatcom County.

North, east and south winds will also be vying for our attention, though they will likely not reach advisory criteria.
