BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It’s looking like Bellingham schools are getting their mid-winter break early.
Superintendent Greg Baker announced Bellingham schools will be closed again Friday, rounding out a whole week of snow days.
Baker says they have been working with community partners on how to help working parents and the YMCA will be offering childcare at both Roosevelt Elementary and its downtown location.
The district delivered nearly 700 meals to students and families across Bellingham Thursday and Baker says they will continue that effort Friday.
Meals are available at the following locations:
- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 PM Shuksan Middle School cafeteria
- 12:30 to 1:30 PM Villa Santa Fe community room
- 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Regency Park community room
