SEATTLE, Wash. —Â Governor Jay Inslee and U.S. Congressman Adam Smith (D, 9th District) were among speakers at a protest of President Trump’s emergency declaration over his border wall.
KOMO reports several hundred people gathered at Seattle’s Volunteer Park for the protest Monday night.
They say the president is violating congress’ right to decide funding issues in order to fulfill a campaign promise.
