Washington may pass law raising smoking age to 21

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — The state House passed a bill to raise the legal smoking and vaping age to 21 and sent it off to the Senate for consideration.

The bill targets both tobacco products and vape products, including e-cigarettes and other vaping devices.

If signed into law, Washington would be the seventh state to raise the minimum legal age for these products.
