Tim Eyman attempts to resolve Office Depot controversy

LACEY, Wash. –The bizarre saga continues as anti-tax initiative sponsor Tim Eyman, who’s accused of stealing a $70 office chair from an Office Depot store in Lacey, has posted a video of himself trying to return or pay for the chair.

In the YouTube video, Eyman walks in to the store but is turned away by a store employee who says he has to deal with Lacey Police.

He then takes the chair to the Lacey Police Department where detectives take the chair to keep as evidence.

Eyman faces a misdemeanor theft charge after he was seen on surveillance video wheeling the chair out of the store without paying for it on February 13.

He says it was an accident.
