MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Governor Inslee has signed a bill funding bump stock buy-backs.

The bill funds the buy-back program passed by the legislature which banned the devices in 2018.

Bump stocks allow a semi-automatic rifle to fire like a fully-automatic rifle, or machine gun, which are banned in Washington.

The State Patrol will offer buy-backs at a number of their offices across the state beginning this Sunday.

The closest office for Whatcom County residents is the Marysville office.

For full details of the buy-back procedure and precise dates and times to turn them in, visit this Washington State Patrol webpage.
