BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham joined a record breaking club on Tuesday as the high temperature reached 74 degrees, which was 11 degrees above the previous record set in 1981.
The National Weather Service says the Bellingham Airport recorded the highest temperatures between 2 and 6 PM.
Seattle had its warmest March day on record since 1894.
Others in Tuesday’s record breaking club include Olympia and Hoquiam.
