BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new report found out the top ten most dangerous routes in Washington for motorcyclists, including two that branch out from Bellingham.

Davis Law Group looked at popular scenic rides in the state and analyzed traffic data along these routes from 2016 to 2018 to compile the list.

With six fatal motorcycle crashes, 21 injury crashes and two non-injury crashes in that time, the North Cascades Highway stretching from Marblemount to Winthrop easily takes the top spot.

Mount Baker Highway came in fifth and Chuckanut Drive was seventh.

Each of these dangerous rides have twisty roads and sharp turns that lead to more accidents.
