LYNDEN, Wash. — Lynden again ranks as one of the safest cities in the state.
Security product website SafeWise put Lynden in 4th place thanks to its low violent and property crime rates, which is one spot higher than last year’s ranking.
Snoqualmie ranked first, followed by Mercer Island, Camas and Liberty Lake to fill out the top five.
Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley were ranked 15th and 18th respectively.
Ferndale just missed the top 20, coming in at 21st.
Property crime was considered the biggest problem for many Washington residents considering the rate of property crime is over ten points higher than the national rate.
