BLAINE, Wash. — Ferndale-based manufacturers Chuckanut Bay Foods have moved production to a new facility in Blaine.
The Northern Light reports Chuckanut Bay Foods is hoping to use their new facility on Boblett Street as a jumping-off point for more growth.
Nearly 100 employees from the company’s now closed Ferndale facilities were transferred to the Blaine location and co-owner Jim Gibson says they are almost always hiring.
The facility will be used to bake and process the company’s signature baked goods that are sold to more than 6,000 retailers across North America.
