HILLSBORO, Ore. — An Oregon woman found herself in a sucky situation when a burglary suspect turned out to be a robotic vacuum cleaner.
Deputies responded and called a K-9 unit for back-up when the woman reported that a stranger was locked in her bathroom.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says on its Facebook that the woman said she could see shadows moving under the door, and officers entering the home with guns drawn heard rustling in the bathroom.
With no response to commands to come out, officers broke into the bathroom and found the suspect — a trapped robotic vacuum.
A responding deputy wrote in his report that they found “a very thorough vacuuming job being done by a Roomba Robotic Vacuum cleaner.”
