BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man is facing an expensive repair bill after crashing his Lamborghini Murcielago into a car lot.
Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy says the driver tore out of a business on Iowa Street just after 11:30 Monday night and lost control.
The pricey sports car spun across traffic, over the curb and into protective bollards and several vehicles on an auto dealership lot in the 1600 block of Iowa.
Officers arrived to find the rear-end of the Lamborghini destroyed.
They ticketed 36-year-old Simarpreet Singh Gill for reckless driving.
A new model of that Lamborghini retails for more than $350,000
