FERNDALE, Wash. — Ferndale’s North Whatcom Poverty Task Force is holding their first meeting on Wednesday, May 8, where they will begin to address community concerns over homelessness, housing, and income inequality.
Beginning at 5 PM on Wednesday, May 8 in the City Council chambers, the public is welcome to attend.
The task force was formed last February by vote of the City Council, and is made up of seven community members, including a member of the council and a representative from another town in the North Whatcom area.
