WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – East County residents have a convenient opportunity to get vaccinated against measles on Saturday, May 4th.
The Whatcom County Health Department and PeaceHealth Pediatrics are teaming up to bring a measles vaccine clinic to Maple Falls.
The Health Department especially recommends that children, young people attending post-high school educational institutions and unimmunized adults get the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.
The vaccine is covered by health insurance and the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Foundation is providing it at no charge for people who are uninsured.
The clinic is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center on Kendall Road in Maple Falls.
