BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Department of Transportation is planning a major maintenance project on I-5 in Bellingham this weekend, and preparations started Wednesday night.
Crews will close the left lane of northbound I-5 near the Sunset Drive interchange on Saturday and Sunday while they work to replace busted concrete panels on the road overnight.
Drivers should expect significant delays.
Be sure to take that into account if you’re headed to the big concert Saturday at Civic Stadium just one mile south.
