BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Construction crews will begin a big repaving project Monday, impacting traffic on three different highways in Whatcom County.
Department of Transportation crews will be working to rehabilitate the existing pavement on Mount Baker Highway between Bellingham and Kendall, on Kendall Road near Peaceful Valley, and on Grandview Road between North Starr Road and the roundabout at Blaine Road.
WSDOT says travelers who use these stretches of highway should expect lengthy delays.
Daytime closures will begin on Monday and drivers can expect delays from 5 AM to 5 PM on weekdays throughout the summer.
