WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A Bellingham woman died after she fell from an overpass onto I-5 early Saturday.
The State Patrol reports 35-year-old Leandra Huante-Garcia was on the North Lake Samish overpass at 12:26 a.m. when she fell.
She landed in the right northbound lane of the freeway and two drivers from Bellingham hit her.
The incident remains under investigation.
