BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Hundreds of outdoor jobs have opened up throughout the state.

The Washington Conservation Corps has 300 field-based job openings for young adults and veterans, offering hands-on experience in environmental restoration, monitoring, disaster response and education.

WCC members serve on small crews and engage in a variety of habitat enhancement projects like planting trees and improving trails.

WCC has opportunities open locally at the City of Bellingham and the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.

Jobs begin in October.
