ANACORTES, Wash. — Four people were hospitalized in two crashes this weekend with one person sent to Harborview Medical Center.

Troopers believe a crash in Skagit County early Sunday was DUI.

The State Patrol says Felix Wren of Anacortes was driving east on Highway 20 and slowly passing another vehicle when he hit an oncoming car head-on.

The Olympia woman driving the other car was taken to Harborview while Wren and the woman’s passenger were taken to the local hospital.

Meanwhile, the State Patrol reports April Hughes of Sedro-Woolley wasn’t injured in a collision Saturday at about 1 PM when she and another woman went off the road in Snohomish County near Monroe.

The other woman crashed into Hughes’ car after they left the roadway and was taken to the hospital.

Troopers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
