LACEY, Wash. — Nearly a year after 13 cats were killed and mutilated in Thurston County another dead cat was found last week.
KING 5 reports attached to the cat was part of a flier from last year offering a reward for help finding the killer.
Residents in the community around Lacey are again on edge as police investigate whether this killing is directly related to the incidents last year.
“It’s heartbreaking to know that this is happened to other families and cats. At the end of last summer, we thought it had died down and put to rest,” said said a woman whose cat was killed.
