BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It’s time to thin the field of contestants for Whatcom County Executive, Bellingham Mayor, and more as ballots have now been mailed.
The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office announced ballots were mailed Wednesday for the August 6 primary election.
Within a few days of receiving their ballots, Whatcom County voters can also expect to receive the Local Voters’ Pamphlet.
Ballots can be returned in one of eighteen official ballot drop boxes in the county until 8 PM on August 6.
For the first time in Whatcom County, voter registration is open through election day.
