BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The parking lot of the Meridian Haggen store could soon be a bit smaller.
A west coast retail developer has applied to build a 6000-square-foot building at the southwest corner of the Haggen parking lot at Meridian and Maryland Streets.
The maximum height of the building would be 25 feet.
The developer says the completed project should bring 20-50 full and part-time jobs.
Construction is proposed to begin in the middle of next year, finishing by late 2021.
