BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Second District U.S. Congressman Rick Larsen has joined the chorus of Democrats calling for the impeachment of President Trump.
He released a statement saying he’s considered many factors but the president’s degradation of the “dream of citizenship” is what led him to the conclusion that Trump should not hold the office.
That is apparently a reference to recent tweets by the President directed at congresswomen of color, in which he said they should go back to the countries they came from.
Larsen says he doesn’t “come to this decision lightly.”
