BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Clark Feed and Seed and Avalon Records are working on next steps with insurance claims and looking at what can be salvaged after last week’s fire.

GoFundMe pages were set up for both stores.

Avalon plans to use what money is raised to help out its now jobless employees, while Clark is focusing on closing out its insurance claims from both the Hohl’s Feed and Seed fire and this one.

Employees at Clark hope to get back into their building Monday to rescue any surviving fish with help from the community.

As both stores get their insurance claims underway, it’s not clear if, when or where they will rebuild.
