PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — Multiple agencies were working on an oil spill after a 65-foot tugboat sank at the Port Orchard Railway Marina Monday afternoon.
Divers recovered 250 gallons of diesel fuel and hydraulic oil from the boat.
Global Salvage and Diving was brought in to clean up and prevent any further pollution.
The Coast Guard says it’s working closely with the state and ecology groups to keep potential impact to the environment as minimal as possible.
