SEATTLE, Wash. — A Q-13 reporter and a Seattle donut shop have teamed up to help Oso recover from the deadly 2014 mudslide.
Reporter Ali Bradley ate a Mighty-O Rasberry Riot donut everyday for 100 days and the Ballard shop donated proceeds from sales of the donut to a fund for a memorial to the 43 people who were killed in the landslide.
They raised $4,000 toward the fund’s goal of $6 million.
And Ali is still skinny.
It was an honor to eat donuts for a good cause! #MightyOso #DonutDiaries https://t.co/aTMJi7rqSS
