BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A popular upscale restaurant next to the Mount Baker Theatre is closing.
Owner Timothy Shea says in a Facebook post that he’s closing Hundred North after buying a large farm in southern Oregon and deciding to concentrate his attention on that business.
Hundred North has specialized in serving locally sourced, organic food for about three years.
He says the last day for the restaurant at 100 North Commercial Street downtown is probably August 31st, but he’s still looking for interested buyers.
