SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Federal inspectors found problems in the past with drivers and vehicles from the company whose truck lost control and careened down a Seattle street and into a Pioneer Square sandwich shop.

The dump truck lost control Monday morning, striking a pedestrian and several cars before crashing through the front of a Subway restaurant.

Five people were hurt.

KING-TV reports investigators are examining the truck, which is registered to Barrett Services of Mill Creek.

U.S. Department of Transportation records show two drivers and three vehicles from Barrett Services have been pulled out of service after inspections over the past two years.
