BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Whatcom County Health Department’s Veterans Program is hosting a benefit sign-up event for Blue Water Navy Veterans August 31st.
The event, offered in partnership with the Whatcom County Veteran Navigator Program, will allow veterans to meet one-on-one with a veteran navigator who will assist them with applying for benefits.
Vietnam-era veterans who were previously denied benefits or who never applied should bring their DD214 or military discharge papers if possible.
The event will run from 10 AM to 2 PM at Lairmont Manor, 405 Fieldston Road, in Bellingham.
