BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The salmon have come home and your chance to take a peek is coming Saturday.
The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association says the fish have been sighted and there’s evidence of spawning along the banks of the Nooksack River.
NSEA is celebrating their return with a Salmon Sightings walk along Thompson Creek.
Naturalists will lead the family-friendly walk starting at 10 AM from the Thompson Creek Bridge along Glacier Creek Road.
Restrooms, beverages, activities and prizes will be provided for this free event.
More information is available at the NSEA website.
