REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond is now home to the World’s Largest Simon after making their attempt at the Guinness Record for the World’s Largest Electronic Memory Game last Friday, September 13th.
OneRedmond says a local video game developer, his team and the Northwest Art Center in Duvall helped create the 20-foot version of the iconic light-up memory game that weighed more than 2,500-pounds.
The two-day tournament brought in over 200 people on 35 teams to compete.
The man behind the giant Simon, Matt Wilson, tells GeekWire he and his team are already looking at which game they should make a giant replica of next.
