BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You can support Bellingham police and prepare for chilly winter nights at the same time.
New Bellingham Police Department blankets are up for sale to benefit the police explorers, a group of young men and women volunteers learning about a career in criminal justice.
Explorer volunteers will be in the lobby of the police department from 4-6pm Wednesday, September 25, selling blankets for $50.
The BPD says the funds will be used to help them with uniform and academy expenses.
