BIRCH BAY, Wash. — A Birch Bay boutique is hosting a fundraiser fashion show for a Lynden organization that helps survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
The show, called Liberty in Style, is at the Betty Be Good boutique Thursday from 5-8pm.
Betty Be Good owner Suzanne Smith tells The Lynden Tribune they expect 25 models including children and even a puppy.
Smith has provided clothing through her store for survivors at Lynden’s Engedi Refuge for the last 3-years and this is the second year of the fashion show fundraiser.
The event includes live music, refreshments, prizes and a silent auction.
