FERNDALE, Wash. — Police arrested a Ferndale High School student for allegedly threatening a shooting.
Ferndale school administrators alerted the police of the threat after they received a report from a student Wednesday afternoon.
Staff members reported hearing similar statements from the student in question.
The 16-year-old was arrested at his home Wednesday night at about 6:45pm.
Ferndale police say he was arrested for similar threats earlier this year and they believe this incident was a credible and specific threat.
