BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham airport was closed for 2-hours after a small plane crash landed there Thursday.
The Bellingham International Airport posted on Twitter Thursday saying a small, twin-engine private airplane had a hard landing with landing gear collapse on the runway.
They said no one was transported to the hospital and did confirm the runway closed while officials investigated and cleared the area.
The runway was re-opened almost two hours after the crash at about 2:30pm.
According to the Port of Bellingham, no commercial flights were delayed.
