BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham is looking for civic-minded residents to fill vacancies on the city’s various boards, commissions, and committees.
These volunteer positions allow residents to meet new people, become civically engaged, and provide critical support to City projects.
Volunteers advise policy makers on a variety of topics ranging from community development to protecting and restoring the Lake Whatcom watershed.
With a few exceptions, board and commission members must live within Bellingham City limits and must have resided in the city for at least one year.
The list of vacancies, information about requirements and the application process, and the downloadable application form are all available on the City of Bellingham website.
