BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County candidates will debate local issues Wednesday, October 9.
County council and executive candidates will have the opportunity to confront the issues facing the county, including the housing crisis, local economy, workforce development, city operations, and the environment.
The free event will take place at the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County’s Baker Creek Place, 1650 Baker Creek Place, at 6:00 PM.
On Thursday, October 17th, KGMI will air a live candidate forum for local positions sponsored by the Common Threads Northwest group.
