BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A former Bellingham woman will spend just over 3-years in prison for taking sexually explicit photos and video of her young daughter and sending them to a man online.
Debra Grace Thomas was sentenced Wednesday in Whatcom County for possessing child porn and sexually exploiting a child.
Court documents show in 2016, four days after reporting to Bellingham Police that her daughter had run away and was raped, Thomas moved the family to Florida.
An investigation revealed the 11-year-old daughter was sexually active and had been messaging the man who raped her, a sex offender, on a sexual fetish website.
Police found Thomas had taken sexually explicit photos and videos of her and her daughter together and sent them to Nathan Bradley of Olympia, a friend of Thomas.
Bradley was arrested on multiple counts related to child porn and his trial is set for December.
