Bellingham among fastest growing small cities in US

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A new survey finds Bellingham is one of the fastest growing small cities in America, but our economy is struggling to keep up.

Wallethub.com looked at a number of factors and found that Bellingham is the 18th fastest growing small city in the country, tops among Washington cities with fewer than 100,000 residents.

We are also the 73rd overall fastest growing city.

But when looking at overall economy and jobs we come in at 290 out of more than 500 cities in the survey.

Seattle is the 3rd fastest growing large city in the nation.
