BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Whatcom County Fire Hall was broken into over the weekend.
“We hope you are finding our chainsaws and new generator useful,” a Facebook post made by Whatcom County Fire District 16 says.
Donations were requested after the equipment was stolen from the Van Zandt Fire Hall last weekend.
In a comment on Facebook from District 16, insurance will cover the stolen items, minus the $500 deductible and security upgrades to the door that was used to get in.
