BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham City Council is urging residents to vote No on Tim Eyman’s latest $30 car tab fee initiative.
Councilmember April Barker told Monday night’s meeting that I-976 would take a chunk of funding away from Whatcom Transit Authority.
The council voted unanimously to oppose the initiative that would cut billions in funding for transportation projects across the state.
